More countries are opening up!! The world is slowly going back to normal!

Great news to travelers and the world!! As the world is slowly going back to normal. More countries are opening up to Americans. This means Canada, the Uk, and the Eu are now having more countries accept their tourists as well. Although, I’m still a little salty about my trip to Finland being canceled(EU make Americans travel again!). ps,I’m not trying to get political here. I’m just poking fun at the real reason why the Europe union doesn’t want Americans in their borders. Hint: Cheetos

It’s has been hard for all of us this year. A lot of us have lost our jobs, love ones, and/or homes. These times have been hard to keep positive. Having what you love the most, taking away from you has felt like we lost the ability to move around with freedom. The fact that more countries are now allowing Americans to travel into their borders has brought light into a dark room. It shows we are heading in the right direction.

Make sure to keep a positive mindset in these times. Even though we are heading back to the norm. The virus is still out there. Remember to wash your hands and wear a face mask when you travel.

These are the countries allowing Americans: Albania, Aruba, Armenia, The Bahamas, Bangladesh, Barbados, Belarus, Brazil, Cambodian, Croatia, Dominica, Dominican Republic, UAE, Ecuador, Egypt, Ethiopia, French Polynesia, Ghana, Grenada, Haiti, Honduras, Ireland, Jamaica, Kenya, Maldives, Malta, Montenegro, Morocco, Namibia, Rwanda, South Korea, St. Barts, St. Lucia, St. Maarten, St. Vincent and Grenadines, Tanzania, Turks and Caicos, The UK, Mexico, North Macedonia, Serbia, Turkey and Zambia.

Keep in mind, most of the countries have restrictions. You need to show you have tested negative on covid.

That is a lot of countries compared to a few months ago when it was only 14 countries. I don’t recommend traveling internationally until they have a vaccine. One that works and doesn’t cause harmful side effects. I’m really happy the travel industry is on the revival. I haven’t set foot on a plane since I came back from Wuhan in December. Still hard to believe I was there during the time when outbreaks just started. What is crazier is that I have tested negative for the Antibodies. Meaning I never got the virus, truly lucky.

Thank you so much for reading! Stay safe everyone! Wash your hands! Much Love! Sorry for not posting last week. I needed the time to sleep and relax. I wasn’t trying to burn out. Thank you so much for your support!!

Showing appreciation to you all and Blog Update

Hello Everyone!!

thank-you-362164_1920

Just wanted to say thank you so much for reading my travel stories. I know I mentioned this serval times before; however, I’m always humbled to see the support you all give us. I’m really honored that you all enjoy what I  write. Growing up, my worst subject in class was English.  Now, people from all over the world read what I write. It’s mind-blowing to even think about it. update-5238354_1920.jpg

Writing this post just to inform you all about a few updates on this blog. On Tuesdays, we will have posts about travel destinations and things to do there. I wrote a few posts in this format before. It seems like you all enjoyed it!  I have to start doing this until we are safe to travel again. I have been doing some domestic traveling. However, not enough to keep posting consistently on Tuesdays. Also, I really don’t feel comfortable on airplanes right now. I still have plenty of stories to write about my travels. Yet, I’m not sure how long this current state of the world will continue. So, Saturdays will be like normal and Tuesdays will be this new format. camels-1149803_1920

Once again, thank you all. I really love traveling. It’s my passion to go to other countries and learn about different cultures. Being stuck for 8 months has been a different and difficult experience. I’m sure all of you have felt a similar way. Will do my best to reply to all of the comments. Ironically, I’m not traveling now but I’m actually even busier.  I wish you all luck, positivity, and good health. Much love to all of you. Keep safe and stay healthy!

Stand strong Lebanon! Stay safe everyone!

I was going to write a normal post but I felt it’s more appropriate to give tribute to a country that always bounces back. lebanon-2131274_1920.jpg

This country I have been wanting to visit for such a long time and explore that part of my ancestry. However, there always something happening in this country that made me want to visit later. When the climate was more peaceful. beirut-5172850_1920 I’m sure most of you all know by now what has happened in Lebanon. Two huge explosions hit the capital city. Everything in a 6-mile radius was hit by the boom of the second explosion. Right now, a confirmed 70 people have lost their lives. If you saw the videos, I’m sure the death toll will probably be near or above 1000. It is currently being under investigation to see if this was a terrorist attack or not. In my heart and gut feeling, I have a suspicion that this was a terrorist attack. coast-4845995_1920.jpg

They said it was a fireworks factory that blew up. The first explosion I can see it possibly being caused by what the chemicals fireworks are made out of. However, the second explosion looked different. palm-trees-5162018_1920.jpg

Stand strong to a beautiful and small country that always bounced back. A small country that had such a big impact on the world. Through its history, diaspora, and culture.

Stay safe everybody and enjoy your loved ones. There were a lot of people who woke that day thinking it was going to be normal. Who are now not able to have another chance to wake up again.

Only love here!

A letter of peace, hope and love

In a country where I grew up. Where I learn to love it because this is my home. I’m constantly being reminded that I’m of lesser quality just based on my skin color. It stings but I still smile and I would never purposely cause harm on anybody.

I still smile because I have hope. Hope for a better future where everybody gets equal treatment. I know this may seem naive but hope is what got me through some really dark times. Regardless of religion, gender, race or sexual orientation. You are a person over everything.

I don’t agree with the looting and destruction of the local businesses. However, I can understand why they do it. Two wrongs don’t make a right. We need peace.

Through my travels, I learned to love people. People from all different backgrounds. Regardless of what their opinions are. I have friends who are Jewish, Christians, Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, Spirtual and everything else in between. I have friends who are far right and friends who are far left. At the end of the day, we are human beings. These labels we put on yourselves just divides us. Letting us be easily controlled by others’ agendas. We should learn to understand each other. It’s okay to disagree but never take the life of someone.

Hopefully, what is going on in the world will spark a postive change.

Rest in peace to all those who lost their lives due to hate and ignorance. Your lives matter!!

Sorry everyone for not replying to the comments the last week or so. I will finish as much as I can in the following days.
