Off to the city of Love(wine), Paris

I just came back from a trip to Jamaica. I was somewhat feeling down and lonely. It’s been a while since I been in a relationship and ironically, the chance to go to paris came knocking my way. Also, Im guilty of buying wine on the plane ride to Paris. No regrets!!

When I finally arrived to Paris, I took the Paris subway to my hotel. I found a deal near the center of this beautiful city. It was about a five minute walk to the Eiffel tower from my room. Of course, you all should know that was the first thing I did.

After walking without a real purpose, I found that tower everybody goes crazy for. It was truly beautiful. Didn’t bother to go to the top because time was too valuable. Waiting in line, would waste precious sunlight.

Just decided to explore around the Eiffel tower. It’s was very interesting to see all the parks that are surrounding this landmark. You see people playing basketball and soccer.

An important looking building taken by Hugo Morel

Started walking around more and I found this building. It looked important, so I took a picture. Keep in mind, I wanted to follow the flow with this trip. The most important task, to me, was to see the Eiffel tower. That was done. So everything after, was just living in the moment. Sometimes it’s best to just enjoy your time in another country and relax. Going to point A to point B, just causes more unnecessary stress. What’s the point of living a life full of stress? It will only make you live shorter.

Eventually, stumbled onto this restaurant. I saw people drinking wine and that’s what attracted me. When in Paris, one must drink wine. Also, French steak is otherworldly!

It’s funny, a lot of people go to Paris to look for love. Me, I just wanted wine and to see the Eiffel Tower.

Thank you so much for reading! Much love and safe travels!

  1. The third photo is of les Invalides. It’s a museum dedicated to the French military and hospital used during the wars. Very beautiful building! Glad that you enjoyed your brief trip to Paris– I always find myself going back there again and again!

  2. Goddamn it how dare you censor my words. You are a fucking liar! You have gone to Paris. In this fucking trip you are sad and alone and two posts ago you and your wife came back from Panama. If you want to delete something then delete this blog and everyone where you are lying to people but don’t you dare delete what I said. These fuckers aren’t reading your posts or they would know you are lying to them but in case they are too stupid to figure it out someone should tell them. Fuck you John for deleting the truth! 🖕

  3. I loved how you just allowed yourself to explore and see where you ended up. Best way to travel, especially when you can stop and have a glass of wine. That is a huge pour, the best kind!

  4. I’m officially jealous. I’ve always wanted to go. I even speak French after all the courses I took in high school and college. Goals for 2019.

  5. Nice post ..loved this line -It’s funny, a lot of people go to Paris to look for love. Me, I just wanted wine and to see the Eiffel Tower. 🙂

  6. I didn’t think that I would enjoy reading your articles as much as I do right now. I really like your writing! Keep up the good work and I have decided to follow you ! Yay x

  7. I just went to Paris! I didn’t like it as much as you! You definitely have a way of making it sound romantic. I thought it was beautiful but I didn’t like the hustlers and the smell of the whole city. Now I absolutely loved Belgium I stayed right in the city in a nice studio. I liked Amsterdam when we got off the maine streets. Loved Germany, but I would never go back to Paris! I have a trip coming up, I will be in Morocco for 10 days! Have you ever been?

    1. Sorry that you experienced that. I might be going to Belgium next month. Yes, I went to morcoco last December. It’s a lovely place. Try going to Tangier, it’s very beautiful during the summer. Blue water and the people are friendly. Watch yourself when you are going through the town sqaures and markets. There are alot of pickpocketers.

      1. I was just looking at that! I cant decide between Marrakech and Tangier. We are also taking a camping trip! I wish my job allowed me to travel more, but I don’t do bad. I end up going on a trip every six months!

      2. Marrakech is a beautiful place but very city like. They have alot pickpocketers. You do get more of the Moroccan feel in marrakech. Tangier is like Morocco’s Miami Beach. You get a sense of spain since it’s so near by. Plus the blue city is about two hours away from Tangier. Where are you camping?

  8. This design is incredible! You certainly know how to keep a reader entertained. Between your wit and your videos, I was almost moved to start my own blog (well, almost…HaHa!) Excellent job. I really enjoyed what you had to say, and more than that, how you presented it. Too cool!

  9. I am so happy to read this. This is the kind of manual that needs to be given and not the accidental misinformation that is at the other blogs. Appreciate your sharing this best doc.
