After leaving the Czech Republic, we arrived in Munich, Germany. The road trip was not as fun as we would had liked. A few bees went into our bus. Let’s just say, we were freaking out. It took an older Chinese gentleman to handle the bees. We are fearless youngsters!
Apparently, the thing above is a car.
Taking the subway in Munich was awkward. It was so quite! You can hear a pin drop. Whispering was close to yelling. No one was talking to each other and no music performers. It felt dead compared to all the other countries’ subways I have been to.
Throughout this city, you can feel that people were tense. By the time we arrived, there were several terrorist attacks that occured. Everybody was somewhat fearful. Even with all the unfortunate events, we still had a great time. A lot parts of Germany made me feel like I was playing an elder scrolls game.
Germany is a beautiful country. Unfortunately, we were only there for one full day. Make sure to stop by Munich during October. At this time, there is a festival happening. Just remember, this is the beer capital of the world.
Thank you for taking your time to read this post! Next week go to Italy! Much love and stay safe!

You’ll have to re-visit Munich one day for an extended amount of time. It’s actually a really neat city, especially in September and October when Oktoberfest is going on. The food is incredible, beer is delicious, architecture is beautiful and the Germans are so friendly! Hope you’re able to visit some other German cities on your journey, like Berlin or Freiburg. Take care!
I do plan to go to Berlin. 🙂 yes, i know Munich is a city have to go and spend more than one day in.

Well said AnchoredAdventureBlog. Münich is one of my favorite cities in Germany, it’s just one of the most expensive places you could ever go to in Germany. If you enjoyed Prague then you’ll definitely love Berlin, but you might as well include Düsseldorf, Salzburg, Hamburg, Cologne, and…. a lot more cities on your next visit. 🙂
I see you like traveling too; I hope to be travel to Europe and possibly road trip my way through Europe! I’ll be sure to keep up with your blog!
I will do the same! Yes, i did the road trip this summer. It was awesome but also trying haha. Enjoy!
I’m totally jealous! Germany is near the top of my list for places to go next. It looks gorgeous!
You will get there one day! Yes, Germany is very beautiful
I envy you. Travelling all over the world! Sigh! Getting to go on a vacation is like winning the lottery for me. But this is so cool!
P.S. That car looking thing is normal here in India 😀 We sorta call it a rickshaw tempo…. I think 😀
Haha okay! Rickshaw tempo!
Hey life is long…you never what will happend
o_O picturing the older Chinese gentleman taking care of the bees while the youngsters in panic mode XD
nice post. hoping to tour Europe next year.
I think to live Germany to the fullest you have to visit Berlin.
Munich is a great city though, and people in Bayern are known for their friendliness. Of course how alive the city is also depends on the day of the week and whether there are some events going on or not (for instance in Munich you should go to a football game or to a typical brewery)
Cheers
Petra
As someone who has lived in Munich for five years I would recommend to visit in spring and not in October/ September when it’s overcrowded with tourists. Then you can really enjoy all the sights without being pushed and shoved through the city. 😀
